If a majority of LEADERSHIP doesn’t support a particular piece of legislation, it doesn’t get a vote. The MINORITY decides the agenda for the MAJORITY…

Until Friday night Speaker Pelosi didn’t have the votes necessary to secure THE RULE. With 13 Republican Representatives hidden up her sleeve, she could have moved on this legislation at any time.

The House Democrats forged a viable path forward to pass BOTH pieces of legislation. Begrudgingly, yes… but it was established. That’s why we’ve been waiting. That was the PLAN. We all hate sausage making, I get it… but we knew what we were getting into when we VOTED back in November.
What changed… why now? Who thought that this strategy would benefit the Democratic Party? It certainly wasn’t the strategy supported by the MAJORITY. Why weren’t they listening to what THE PEOPLE wanted…
