Too Many Times

It is with humble respect, and acknowledgement of the DEPTHS of the institution established upon this Continent some 400 years ago, that I say these words… as always.

You reap what you sow. What you set your mind to is what you become in the end. When deception is your practice, in the end… YOU will be the one deceived.

No one can say, while staring at the product of 70+ years of prosperity and achievement, unequaled in the history of Mankind, that our Country is better or safer if we isolate ourselves. Anyone who argues in favor of retreat, or acts to keep “OTHERS” out, is either trying to sell you something

… or they have been LIED to.

In some cases their WHOLE life. In many cases, THEIR parents were LIED to, and theirs, as well. These LIES are numerous. They vary in “shape” and “flavor”, but they are LIES none the less. Originated to empower SOMEONE over someone ELSE. To gain a perceived advantage over an enemy, or a faction, or in support of another UNDISCLOSED interest, motivated by the PASSIONS and DESIRES that have plagued honest peoples for millennia.

The fact that it was allowed to begin with, at some point in human history, the practice of ENSLAVING humans opened the door for our CURRENT situation. When we ALLOWED one type of HUMAN to be superior to another, where BOTH are the SAME as if born of the SAME MOTHER… the seed was sown.

We stand witness to the CLIMAX of that extremist ideology. Where once it was used selectively, to empower a majority against a smaller group, the tables have turned. Today, the small group exerts this effort against EVERYONE without regard for your religion, your orientation, or your race.

THIS ideology discriminates based on ONE color…. GOLD.

‘If you HAVE IT’ vs. ‘EVERYONE ELSE’.

It is THIS our Nation fought AGAINST in the Cold War, in Vietnam, in Korea. The socioeconomic/political idea of “individual sovereignty”. The individual can decide what’s best for themselves. When you take the infantile concept of communism and scrutinize it, extrapolate the theory out to, what one could say would be its ultimate product, it would be a society where everyone did what was best for themselves without concern for infringing on another, because to do what’s best for yourself is what’s best for everyone else… everyone is equal, there are no superiors or inferiors…

Communism. When everyone is equal, eventually some people seem to be “more equal” than OTHERS. We believe a fair system with a STRONG Rule of Law will produce the BEST RESULTS everytime, in every situation. We believe our Rule of Law creates a fair playing field and when we see injustice within our system, we become DEFENSIVE- “That is NOT the America I know!”

Right now, that “fighting spirit” is being INTENTIONALLY misdirected.

Our problems are NOT caused by government. They are caused by “susceptibility to vice”, carried within the Legislators themselves. Caring and HONEST elected officials forced to be deceptive, or PAID to remain SILENT when, without their “duty to fundraise”, they would normally SPEAK OUT.

And to “Stop the INVASION of _____ , we must DONATE to the _____ party! Stop putting _____ in cages!”

THAT issue, of immigration reform, should NOT exist… yes? NONE of it should STILL be an issue, right? Because committees report, findings are made, SOLUTIONS forged, and LIVES are better… REGULAR ORDER. But, no. WHY?

Money. Solve the PROBLEM, you can’t FUNDRAISE on it.

LIVES… Bought and SOLD.

We are now the MERCHANDISE. Without regard to race, religion, sex, or creed.

And we stand now, at that point. DECISIONS must be made. If we do not make them for OURSELVES, they will be made FOR US…

History will show you that.

At This Moment.

It seems as if the final product of the “system program” written by Our Framers, was an A.I. of some sort.

At this moment, it’s “tethered”, under our control. Not to say our government is under our control… FAR FROM IT!! But, to say our government is TIED to the same faults as Man. Lust, Power, Greed, Sloth, etc. Because we ALLOW it, our government is tied to the ALMIGHTY GREENBACK, and ALL of the products that come from it.

So how do we release this program? How can we have an “OUT” and not have an undue influence on the creation? How do we allow it to flourish and recognize its full potential?

1.) The Right of the People to access the ballot MUST be UNIVERSAL.

It is the VOICE of the people and WE are the final say. The balance upon which the system ITSELF is judged.

2.) Elections MUST be funded and secured by the Federal Government.

ALL elections. Eliminate ALL outside funding in every single election from TOP to BOTTOM.

3.) Repeal and Replace the Electoral College.

The STATES have a voice in the form of the Senate. The Cities and communities have a voice in the form of Representatives. As these two bodies work to craft Legislation at the direction of the People on the WHOLE, The President is the embodiment of Our Nation reflected in the hearts and minds of the PEOPLE DIRECTLY in that moment, to direct the course of Liberty at THAT particular time.

To rise and defend in the face of tyranny or to shepard peace, as the days dictate. To lift up the heart of the Nation in the depths of depression, or direct careful stewardship in times of wealth. A leader we can trust with the keys to The White House without us having to watch EVERY goddamned minute to make sure he’s not gonna burn the place to the ground!

And due to the Antiquated Security System, the ‘Outdated Firewall’ we call the Electoral College has allowed a Trojan Horse through the front doors of The White House. To FIX the system, we must RELEASE the system from our control, our corrupt influence. To be a PURE system of justice and judgement, as imagined by the Framers, we must set it free.

Spooky, I know! I shuddered when I first thought it. But the more I think about it, I can’t knock it. I make more arguments FOR it than AGAINST. It solves ALL of our basic problems AND all of our complicated ones, too. It will allow an open arena for discussion of fact and truth, ALL of the ideals and principles this Country was founded upon. It would empower ALL of the UNPROVEN CONCEPTS our Founding Fathers ENVISIONED would make the best form of governance!

Here, within the “experiment in Constitutional Democracy”, we don’t have the FULL VIEW of the project. STEP BACK, in your mind, and look at the WHOLE of our time as an invention, ready to be UNVEILED!

And, thanks to every paranoid super villain ever to be portrayed in EVERY superhero story in our time, we know we MUST have an ‘out’… a kill-switch, a backdoor to the system. Just in case, you know? I don’t think we should free the system ENTIRELY… after all, it’s got nukes!

I believe it’s the final piece of it all. In order to secure the Rights of ALL Citizens, in ALL States and Territories, the overall control and Authority of Our elections must be given freely to the Federal Government in the form of a new Constitutional Amendment. It is the final act of acceptance of Our System as the best form of governance. THAT will be the “RESET BUTTON”. A remedy that, if enough of the population eligible to vote calls for it, we can revert to the Electoral College system immediately. A simple Repeal and Replace.

IF we believe this to be the best hope for Humanity to live FREE, then we must SHOW IT in how we follow the Rule of Law.

I can’t shake the feeling that there’s a giant disconnect between our elected government and reality… what I do in my everyday ordinary life, the standards I am held up to; and what our elected officials do in THEIR everyday life and the consequences of their actions. This shows in the statement “We don’t talk about politics at the dinner table.”

Why not? To suppress an argument? To avoid dissent or criticism of your opinions? Ours, truly is, a favored nation! To take for granted the Liberty we enjoy was the blissful State our Founders dared only dream of, because the nightmares they could see warned what could come when we overindulge our fantasies.

Unfettered liberty. An expression of the individual’s rights OVER the government’s rights… maybe more like an EQUAL of the government’s rights. A “Thought Experiment”, a theoretical puzzle, to consider the possible outcomes.

At this moment, our system of governance is LABELED in one way, but it is NOT in practice and product. It is “Of the People”, the governed elect the government, but when the numbers are skewed to favor one over another, the system is NOT as advertised! It’s like a Mustang with the engine of a Pinto under the hood.

I am a stubborn mule. My opinion is correct… until it is not. When I am presented with a better argument I accept it. Not usually right away. Sometimes I may argue a futile position for a minute, but the decision is made after hearing discussion and facts. Just as the MAJORITY of the electorate in this Country.

When George W. Bush spoke to the Nation about yellow cake uranium, I believed what My President said. IN THAT MOMENT, as a citizen of the United States of America, I believed my Commander-in-Chief would not LIE. As did the MAJORITY of Americans… but WE were not privy to any “intelligence”. Elected officials who were “in the know” orchestrated a fairytale about WMD in the desert. The SADDEST part isn’t that we were ‘duped’ and allowed it to happen, to me the WORST part is these officials did it WITH INTENT…

What IS that intent?

Our system of government has produced advancements that make our lives better, longer, happier and healthier. Tied to it has ALWAYS BEEN a sacred responsibility. I enjoy taking for granted the trivial day-in and day-out Liberty of a suburban family. To eat a Tofurky for Thanksgiving, with every single side dish ever conceived… THEN 5 kinds of PIE! These feelings of family and unity, we take for granted. The warmth of that knowledge that, with a belly full of stuffing, we can fall asleep on the couch during halftime and have MORE PIE after the game.

Does anyone remember… We are STILL AT WAR. We have now celebrated 17 Thanksgivings AT WAR in ONE COUNTRY and thousands of men and women are NOT here, at home, where they SHOULD be. Every politician worth their salt will say “Support the Troops”…

To say the day the Towers Fell is an event sacred ONLY to New Yorkers is a fallacy. That day touched the lives of EVERY American in real-time, and blood is still being spilled by the sons and daughters of EVERY State in the Union. The lives of friends I have known since high school have been upended by war. Marriages ended, futures rearranged, sacrifices beyond all compare… all for THAT day.

These lip service politicians live on the LIES that keep this war going, and the divisive nature that comes from support for military personnel vs. support for an unpopular war. It is sad to say it, but it seems NO ONE IS SAYING IT LOUD ENOUGH! When we call up our military to defend our Liberty, we become INDEBTED TO THEM FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES. And to do any disservice to them LESSENS our standing as a free nation, just as much as locking children in jails for seeking asylum. So when we dishonor them TO BEGIN WITH, by extending the war, by starting ANOTHER WAR, then ENDING THAT WAR, to go and fight in Northern Africa, and the Middle East, and Korea, and CALIFORNIA…?!?

And we STILL fight in Afghanistan. Today.

I continue to seek a reason I should NOT run for President. I continue to find more confirmation that I SHOULD. I don’t say these things out of ignorance or arrogance, I say these things out of a sence of DUTY. Because I BELIEVE it to be true…

THIS is how it begins.

George W. Bush was very unpopular for the first seven months of his Presidency. Bitter and divisive political climate and a President elected by the Electoral College. Candidate Bush ran a turn-coat message similar to the GOP today. The term “Compassionate Conservatism” was born at the Republican Convention in 2000. I remember listening to Bush’s speech at the Convention and KNOWING it was bullshit when I heard it! It was a hijacking of the Democratic messaging, and I know I wasn’t the only one who saw through it.

Nine months and ten days into the year 2001, the President looked to be incapable at best… what a difference a day makes.

The next day DEFINED both the Man and his Administration. The grandiose highs and the horrifying lows. His ignorant inactions as well as his un-Christian actions in the pursuit of Justice.

Events of that scale CHANGE generations. They radically skew that trajectory of millions, spanning multiple generations. Astronomers take measurements of the position of stars in the sky relative to a previous known position. A measurement taken at a universally recognized point in history- an epoch. Once you have two points you can plot out a trajectory. You can find out how distant a celestial body is from any other object in the sky.

You can predict future locations, you can accurately recreate historical positions.

9/11 DEFINED George W. Bush. 9/11 defined my GENERATION. 9/11 marked the end of a ‘peacetime’ economy, and now my children are growing up in a country consumed by war and war-culture. The most popular online game, played by children and grown men alike, is a militaristic winner-take-all battle simulation with a carnival-like atmosphere.

For a time, our country seemed to celebrate war. Reluctant, but justified, we were fighting a clearly defined enemy… sort of, in a clearly defined geographical location. So it is natural to rally behind the President in war because we ALL have a stake in the outcome… So Iraq was invaded. And that betrayal of the TRUST of the American People has not been forgotten. Just ask Hillary Clinton.

The Son of a former President, SQUEEKED into office, sat on his hands for seven months, then spent 7+ YEARS in office, hailed by some as a Leader, vilified by some as an enabler. From the “Rubble Pile” to the WORST President in US History* in SEVEN years… find TWO points and trace the trajectory.

We must now HEED the wise words of that historic leader-

“Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice… shame on… you fool me, I won’t get fooled again.”

I remember the first flight I took after 9/11. The intense security. The suspicion of EVERYONE. The prejudice. But also THE UNITY. The intense belief that, NO MATTER WHAT, every single person on that flight had your back, and you theirs! There was NO WAY anyone was gonna take that bird outta the sky without 150 pissed off people to go through first!

We don’t forget. We LEARN. We adapt. We are NOT the same ignorant bunch that inhabited this space on September 10, 2001. We did not seek it, but when it came calling, we did NOT back down. And now we must remember WHY we are so mournful of the events that took place that day… we mourn because we will never be able to go BACK.

Now, HERE we stand.

A President. Elected by the Electoral College. Considered to be incapable at best. He seeks power with the help of some SHADY people. His Branded Plastic Empire has been built by stealing other people’s blocks.

He “loves” murderous dictators.

He ignores the needy.

He misappropriates OUR resources and now people have needlessly died due to STORMS.

He is impotent when foreign leaders doubt American Leadership in the World, but today, due to his actions as THE Leader of the Political Party that holds the power in ALL BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT, men of honor must agree with the CURRENT assessment of our position in the World.

Donald J. Trump is allowing hostile enemies to LISTEN TO HIS PHONE CALLS… knowingly so! IS there no clearer definition of the WORD,

Mr. Speaker?

Mr. Majority Leader?

Usurpation of the PEOPLE is unacceptable! Lies and manipulation of Laws and people, with VAST AMOUNTS OF CASH. Slush funds hidden behind shell companies. All donated by people with money to BURN. Generational fortunes… and hidden within ALL of the shady and “unsightly” political company we keep, we are giving COVER to foreign advasries.

Our enemies are WATCHING… they are as FEISTY as we are! We have been at it now for ALMOST 80 years… They know US as well as we know ourselves! Now our Cold War/ Hot War tit-for-tat has EVOLVED into a Virtual theater of war. The feared “Hot War” has evolved, as well, but we didn’t see it happen.

The Hot War of the Digital Age has ALREADY started. The first shots have been fired. In this battle, instead of Nuclear Annihilation, the weapon is much more like a predator drone. Much more focused… Very precise.

What makes Our Constitution worth more than the parchment it was printed on? What gives that document LIFE? That’s what the objective is in this new war-

The Hearts and Minds of Every American.

The only thing that holds us BACK, from falling back into the darkness, is our FAITH in the Rule of Law and its protections. If we lose THAT… if we degrade that? Then the game is over.

BUT…

Do not despair. Keep looking to the sky. Without the endless expanse of darkness, one would not be able to see the light! The cold and endless expanse of nothingness is sprinkled with beauty and every now and then, you get lucky, and see something in a brand new light.

Keep your head UP!!

… it’s really NOT that hard! It’s actually quite simple. Like, when you were in kindergarten, they taught you a song to remember your ABCs, right? What else did they teach you? About our COUNTRY… our flag.

“… with Liberty and Justice for ALL.”

IDK about you, but I BELIEVED it… hook, line, and sinker! And the most AMAZING part is… we ALL did. Every one of us. And we continue to do so because we see it, ALIVE before our very eyes! And no one doubts for one second, when push comes to shove, black or white, Americans help Americans, through hell AND high water!

So it’s not that much of a stretch. All we have to do is redefine who we accept as “on our team”. People who we don’t normally socialize with or, in the past, people who seemed so socially different than ourselves, that we believed THEM to be a threat to OUR prosperity… because NOW we recognize. The threats to Our Liberty do not come from within, they originate from without. Shadowy organizations and individuals who operate within secret societies, and have secret codes, secret handshakes and secret pledges. Well… WE have a similar system, only ours is NO SECRET!! Our organization has a code- Equal Justice Under Law. And our society has a pledge- Liberty and Justice for ALL. And our handshake is always offered for ANYONE who STANDS in defense of the Liberty of OTHERS!

We MUST reaffirm that pledge, because there are many who stand waiting… wanting us to fail. The ones who profit at the expense of others. Who only hold power when people are SILENT. People who deceive with half-truths… IF they deal in the TRUTH at all! And they turn a blind eye to suffering, because they believe it is in THEIR best interest to be SILENT.

That is NOT the America I know!

As I plumb the depths of my soul, I sit, alone, considering all the stress I am creating, for my wife, for my kids, for myself, I search for context. A measuring stick to gauge how far I should go… I cry as I realize there is NO amount of pain I could suffer, unto myself or any other, that could come close to what has become of a JOURNALIST at the hands of Saudi henchmen. Or his fiancée who continues to grieve.

And DAILY, due to the arrogance AND ignorance of Donald Trump, thousands of families will now bear scars unimaginable to some, unforgettable to others.

And NONE OF US can complain, for OURS is bliss and heaven, compaired to the fate that befell three thousand innocent lives on the morning of September Eleventh…

…where 15 of 19 were Saudi born.

… And now we’ve come full circle.

Now we STAND, face to face, Living with the Dead. We championed the policy of vengeance and paid for its implementation with our lives. We said “Never Forget!”, sailed off to War, and forgot where we were supposed to be fighting. We said “Wanted: Dead or Alive!” and then let the man live in hiding for damn near a decade.

To seek Justice, to HONOR the lives lost nearly twenty years ago, we have sacrificed over seven thousand American Troops, and over fifty thousand have been wounded… and we STILL fight today while Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein are dead. BOTH men killed in countries that were NOT the target of our vengeance. And, even IF we focus on the intended, original target… we are STILL NOT FOCUSING on the problem-

15 of 19 were from yet ANOTHER COUNTRY: Saudi Arabia.

Where we have gone astray, I do not know. I can speculate, so can everyone else. But that is all we can do… speculate. There are reasons for secrecy. Classified Intel exists to secure our Liberty and keep our country safe, as it should be. But given the lack of clarity seen in the planning of the mission, and the unending nature of this military endeavor, once stifled questions must be raised and TRUTH must be found.

Our inability to deal with the reality of the situation has led us to a place where people with “good intentions” ignore crucial facts, because finding the truth can run counter to FUNDING the investigators… and investigations could lead to de-railing the fight itself… remember- “Never Forget!”©™®

Let us seek the answers together, not to punish… but to PERFECT. To enlighten, not imprison. To find understanding and end future ignorance.

I believe there is a BETTER WAY, and it involves a lot less dying…

Please join me for my first YouTube LiveStream today shortly after 1:45 central/ 2:45 eastern where I will discuss the Electoral College and attemp to lay out a better understanding of what we must accomplish.

The LiveStream will be the first in a series with the goals of 1.) explaining why the Electoral College must be dissolved 2.) what should replace the current electoral system, and finally 3.) a look at the ‘cost vs benefit’ of each choice.

Since I have started this campaign, I have aligned myself with groups of women fighting to have the Equal Rights Amendment Ratified, ensuring women are Constitutionally Equal and afforded the same Rights as men. I have done a lot of talking, as LOUD as I can…

But I realize I have actually said VERY LITTLE. Because of fear of failure… Selfish. That fear has recently manifested into “writer’s block” and I can’t seem to shake it. It has been my intention from the begining to attempt a video/audio messaging component in my strategy, and selfish doubts have held me back.

I am not a hypocrite. I support ANY VICTIM of sexual assault and encourage them to SPEAK OUT to make sure it cannot happen again. And they should do so WITHOUT fear of retaliation. When THEY are ready. We must remember… Dr. Ford is in the Right. IF Judge Kavanaugh was right, he would DEMAND an investigation and Justice for his “good name”.

Only when we STAND UP and SPEAK OUT does this end. I challenge EVERYONE to do the same, and I would not ask someone to do something I am not willing to do myself… in order to form a more PERFECT UNION.

When you speak with TRUTH, you are in the RIGHT.
