… where did you STAND?

Well good… now that THAT’S over with. I guess we can all move on.
Now that everything’s settled.
Now that everyone’s reached some kind of definitive conclusion.

Some may see things differently than others. Some may disagree completely on what is FACT and what is not. Unfortunately, no matter how you see things, I think we can all agree that there’s no good news to report from our recent PAST. But, things are looking good for our future… that’s if we are willing to learn from our mistakes.

Because it’s on full display! Right NOW, upon the World Stage… HYPOCRISY! In the United States Senate. Evidence, if presented in any other Federal Courtroom would lead to conviction… dismissed and IGNORED by our Elected Officials.

It must be nice to have a Senator in your pocket.

… but that sort of thing doesn’t happen in my daily life.

If I break the law, or one of my friends or a family member were to act in such a way… there’s no special consideration given to that situation. There is no Gang of Eight who will attempt to sway opinion by withholding evidence or testimony in that case… the Wheels of Justice simply turn.

… and oh, isn’t it sad. Isn’t it a shame. Another life wasted, fallen to a life of crime. Another criminal behind BARS, another perp off the street…

Who ARE these people?! Ye, GODS amongst Men? How is this even close to being Representative of our NATION, of our DAILY LIVES?

This is the Vision of Governance they wish to see.
This is Justice, in the eyes of our Elected Officials.

Who’s interests do they REPRESENT.

This is the road they have paved. Through their actions, by their VOTE. They have affirmed this action. This is not a conclusion to anything… it’s now complete. The Leader of the Republican Party for the foreseeable future will be Donald J. Trump. Everyone needs to understand and prepare for that.

Be it two years, be it four years. Even if it is eight years from now, eventually this question will be raised again. This is not the time to be SILENT. The defense of Democracy means we must act. If we do nothing, THIS is what it will continue to BE!

Fix the gerrymandering, secure the right to vote for ALL Americans, secure our elections from foreign interference, yes to all of it! But at the heart of it all, we’re still securing and defending the same old broken electoral system, that allows us the privilege of choosing between the candidates the DONORS have deemed acceptable.

Government by the dollar. Justice to the highest bidder.

It is Self-Evident.

The state of BEING equal… especially in status, rights, and opportunity. A symbolic expression of a FACT, that two quantities ARE EQUAL.

The quality of being fair or impartial. The QUALITY of… the VALUE of. The value of WORTH. Ownership. Rights.

EQUALITY promotes fairness by treating EVERYONE the same, regardless of need.

We’ve all been plodding along, believing what was written, that we are ALL created EQUAL. And everyday… we continue to question why it’s not so.

In the beginning, they did not know. It had never been proven before… it had never been done. As new light was being cast upon old paradigms of thought, revelations of a new way forward were forged.

IF they proved to be superior to those that came before, it could break the cycle of enslavement humanity had endured for thousands of years. IF they proved to be wrong… it could lead to the enslavement of the entire globe.

They chose to believe in the fundamental laws of nature, as proved by countless minds across thousands of years. That we are ALL created EQUAL. A fact so universally profound, our Founders believed it to be SELF-EVIDENT. It is the foundation upon which our Democratic Experiment is built. A fact so basic, we now take it for granted.

If that which we believe to be FACT becomes a variable, the entire experiment falls apart… that’s why they Declared it to be so from the start.

Our words matter… every one of us. We are united in common cause, our destinies entangled. Our fates dependent upon the actions of others. It is by choice and design that we stand today, not by chance. Some would say it was preordained, as if a gift from the divine.

If that’s the case, we must remember- it is a gift given with FREE WILL… a choice. The ability to see that which is OF divinity, and that which is NOT. It’s up to us to use these gifts we’ve been given, in the way they were intended to be used…

For ALL MANKIND.

And at the heart of it all stands that universal truth… EQUALITY.

Just read the WORDS as they are written. Therein lies our ANSWER! That’s why OURS is to be celebrated! Any path we follow must bring us closer to Equal Justice Under Law for everyone. From the President to the Postmaster, from Senator to Sanitation Worker. It’s what we’ve all pledged to do.

Anyone who stands opposed to EQUALITY, stands opposed to the MAJORITY of the people of the United States of America… and we now have the DATA to back that up.

STAND UP for the RULE OF LAW!

A More Perfect Union

Are we willing to trade a little bit of our truth for HUMILITY? Because we ALL want to STAND for what’s RIGHT… right? Not just righteous, but factually correct.

None of us were given the sight to see what is only for the eyes of the Divine, but we were endowed with the ability to LEARN and GROW. To take in new knowledge and new information, to understand things from a new perspective… learning, through compassion and empathy.

Because we can ALL see it! There, beneath the layers of superficial bullshit, at the CORE of all of the radical conspiracy theories is an obscured TRUTH… the impact of such being lost long ago.

For GREED? At the expense of well-meaning people wanting to do the right thing… yes, but also BECAUSE of greed. To deliberately dilute and hide uncomfortable FACTS among a bizarre collection of unrelated and easily dismissible ideas.

How do we reconcile FACT with FICTION when an observable fact becomes associated with fantasy and racially charged propaganda? It’s nothing NEW. It’s the same vile storylines that were cast upon undesirable minority populations throughout the last century.

Only now it’s SUPERCHARGED and available in the palm of your hand.

What is Our LIGHT? What is the pinnacle of OUR efforts, the vision revealed within our nation’s dream? There is a common thread woven through our collective dis-ease… and it’s either elevated or SILENCED at the discretion of MONEY.

Money should not define our legislative moral agendas.
Money should not define who is worthy of Equal Justice Under Law.

It is a slippery slope, but it’s one we must walk down if we want to make things better for generations to come.

Money Talks.

When you strip away all of the Political Theater… the Mueller Report, Russian Collusion, Hillary’s emails… and just consider who these people are. Their DEEDS, their ACTIONS. What trends do these people present?

Can we determine where they STAND? Can we see what’s churning within their souls?

The answer is CLEAR when we consider the protests we’ve seen in the streets of every American City. Protesters burned a police station to the ground… and still, they were not moved.

Thousands have died and millions have lost their jobs. The picture was CLEAR as early as January that this could be our fate… yet they were SILENT.

And even NOW, as a riotous mob has stormed our Capitol, threatening to kill elected officials. Elected officials, representing THE PEOPLE who voted them into that office… their very own colleagues! They act as if nothing has happened.

If the plight of their own constituency will not move them.

If the calls for Justice and Equality, made by the constituency of their colleagues, has no effect.

If threats of violence, acted out against MIKE PENCE will not unite them in common cause… then what would?

What’s the ONE THING that will motivate these leaders to ACT?

It’s no longer acceptable to simply stand SILENT. When we defend the rights of OTHERS, we defend those rights for OURSELVES.

Every one of these groups should ask themselves if this is what they want to be associated with, and they should tell EVERY American Consumer exactly where they stand.

Delta Airlines. BNSF Railway: Do you support INSURRECTION against our government, and will you be contributing to members of Congress who support and defend inciting VIOLENCE for political gain in the FUTURE?

The Republican Jewish Coalition: How can the actions of these Senators, be seen by any religious organization as HONORABLE? Of ALL people, I would think your organization would be the most vocal in your opposition to such tactics.

Walking away from the situation now will not change the unfolding course of events. This is the agenda you have backed. YOUR SUPPORT has brought our nation to this place. Every one of these organizations must SPEAK OUT and tell these Senators exactly where they should STAND.

Let History be our guide. If we do not STAND UP against mob violence… eventually, it will come for us all. The Rule of Law protects our right to protest.

Disunion is BORN of Inequality

In the President’s Inaugural Address, I heard a lot of talk about UNITY… but there was little talk of EQUALITY.

**Disunion is BORN of Inequality.**

Unequal pay for women restricts Liberty by creating financial barriers; restricting access to education, job opportunities, and financial security. Without the affirmative protection of Equal Standing, the rights of women are subject to change at the discretion of whomever holds elected office.

Unequal application of the law gives rise to LIES by creating an apparent enemy where there is NONE. Mandatory minimum sentences for drug charges, imposed disproportionately upon communities of color, create the illusion of a “trend”. But in reality, if those laws were enforced EQUALLY we would see that addiction impacts the lives of ALL Americans, without regard for the color of our skin.

Systemic Inequality makes it possible for a white man to yell and scream at an officer of the law with NO FEAR, while a black man is killed in front of his children while breaking NO LAWS.

Inequality enrages protesters to march in the streets for CHANGE, where they are met by Federal Agents firing tear gas and flash grenades. Inequality makes it possible for a violent MINORITY to successfully storm our Capitol with NO RESISTANCE from the National Guard, intentionally…

Because it would have looked bad.

Inequality creates separate classes of citizens; where one group follows a specific set of rules, and the other is exempt from any accountability when those rules are violated.

Inequality causes people to lose faith that their voice is being heard, and leads them to look for alternative methods to elevate their opinions. Inequality reinforces the belief that the system is rigged, and because of that fact, there is no other way…

All because of the perception of Inequality.

All because of the REALITY of Inequality.

We can have Union without Equality, but without Equality… that Union will not last. Do we need Justice? Yes, but the need for that Justice was created within a system that is currently unjust. A system that is lacking in Equality. A system where Justice is determined based on the amount of money you have. The injustice and disunion only grows because of Inequality.

The People of the United States have declared, by their VOTE, that Women should have EQUAL STANDING under our Constitution. Thirty-eight States have now voted to Ratify the Equal Rights Amendment, guaranteeing Equality for Women and Girls. It is SELF-EVIDENT… equality cannot wait.

Now is the time for our new President and our new Congress to act. Thirty-eight of the fifty States… 76% of the United States DEMANDS Equality! Let us celebrate our new Constitutional Amendment and RATIFY EQUALITY.
