“The Case Against The President: Part 1, The HEART of the Matter”
I did not have clarity of thought when I was a young man. As a child, my father would constantly remind me, “Children are to be SEEN, not HEARD.” He would communicate silently that I was rambling on and on and on and on… by hand gesture. Pinching his fingers and thumb together, as if they were the mouth of a sock puppet, telling me without a word to SHUT UP!
I would usually get the hint. As I try to remember how I acted in my childhood, I remember so little. I don’t remember carrying on like that, but I DO remember the annoyance with it. The problems it would cause at school. The constant drifting within my own mind, consuming HOURS of my life.
In my teenaged years, I became angry and rebellious. Once, during a heated argument with my father, he told me, “Someday you’re gonna have a kid who’s JUST like you!”
Yeah… ha ha, OLD MAN… whatever.
Well, you KNOW… with OLD AGE comes WISDOM, I suppose!
I’ve learned EXACTLY how I was as a child by raising my youngest son, Garrett. He is exactly like me in almost every way, and where he and I differ, he is EXACTLY like his mother. She might NOT admit it… but she can be a bit STUBBORN, too.
Shortly after Garrett was born, I sought counseling as part of my recovery and treatment for Alcoholism. During these sessions, the therapist and I discovered… I have ADHD. He referred me to a psychologist, who confirmed what we suspected.
I have been on medication now for 10 years. IF I had been given the opportunity to be diagnosed BEFORE THEN… my life would have been MUCH different! The ability to FOCUS my thoughts… more than that, the ability to control my mind, and actually make the thoughts STOP! CLARITY of the mind… CONFIDENCE comes with CLARITY, two things I could not find as a teenager.
Recognizing the symptoms I had as a child, remembering the problems it would eventually cause in MY life, I realized at an early age that Garrett would need help, as well. Being able to make that decision for him at an early stage in his development has changed his trajectory. He will not have to face the same hardships that I did…
I began caring about my mental health at age 30. Since then, the steps I have taken to live a happy and productive life have opened up possibilities I would never have been able to TRY… all within the last 10 years. We’ve been working with Garrett to ensure his mental health and well-being since he was 8… I am jealous of what he will achieve by the age of 40!
I have ALWAYS challenged authority. As a parent, I’ve found myself questioning the accepted social dogmas of raising a child. “When I was YOUR AGE… that’s how WE were raised, so that’s how it’s done.”
My step-mother would make me eat scrambled eggs with chopped green peppers in them. I did not like them. I was NOT given a choice. Today, as an adult, I have developed an allergy to nightshade vegetables. Was her demand really necessary? At what point should a child be treated more as an individual, with the right to decide CLEARLY, that green peppers ARE disgusting?
Should we make demands of our children, ones that we didn’t like THEN and do not like NOW, simply because they were made OF US? Consider the amount of CHANGE that has happened in the last 20 years!
I told my boys about a time I had a flat tire on a highway in central Wisconsin, and had to walk damn near 10 MILES to reach a phone! They didn’t seem to fully understand what things were like… just a FEW YEARS AGO. On the other hand, I have to keep reminding them of the POWER they hold in their hands. Every time they ask me how to spell something, I answer, “G-O-O-G-L-E”. They take it for granted… they have the ability to answer ANY QUESTION, instantly! My god… You know, back in MY DAY…
To avoid mistakes in the future, we look to lessons from our PAST. With old age DOES come WISDOM, and from wisdom we gain UNDERSTANDING… and THAT is how we find PEACE, through COMPASSION.
Tonight, my thoughts are with the Iranian PEOPLE. My thoughts are of PEACE, and ALL that can come FROM it. My thoughts are of INQUIRY, not condemnation. My heart aches as we are moving BACKWARD, not striving together for a BETTER FUTURE… as we have DONE, so recently in our PAST.
As tensions grow, I want to extend a message of PEACE from THE PEOPLE of The United States of America. Not from the elite. Not from the elected. My voice comes from the suburban expanses of endless cul-du-sacs and asphalt city streets. It comes from the families who’ve put the ‘RED’ in our ‘RED, WHITE, and BLUE’… and may do so WILLINGLY again someday.
We curse the war and bless the PEACE that follows. We DEMAND our leaders pursue PEACE AT ALL COST, in order to avoid losing that, which has NO PRICE. There is a disconnect now in the United States between the WILL OF THE PEOPLE and the policies being practiced. The American People are beginning to UNDERSTAND this, and we are starting to ask the questions… “WHY?”
Questioning OURSELVES. To become stronger than we were YESTERDAY… and tomorrow, stronger STILL.
“We seek PEACE. WHY is it NOT SO?”
“But THEY attacked US?! WHY…?”
The American People STILL BELIEVE that ours IS the greatest system of governance ever envisioned… AS DO I. To continue working toward that more perfect union envisioned by our Founders, we must come to terms with the fact that our government has NOT been used AS INTENDED for many YEARS. The American People must remember WHO WE ARE, and for WHAT we STAND…
The United States of America is the HOME of the REVOLUTIONARY! We give SHELTER to those who fight FOR JUST CAUSE. We do not turn away. We do NOT close our doors. We have walked the path of war. We have fought, side-by-side to defend the land of others, and laid to rest our soldiers, side-by-side with THEIRS… with hope that it would never happen again.
Our FOUNDING FATHERS were REVOLUTIONISTS, fighting in-kind for principles and ideals not yet BORN. Seeing how society WAS all around them, watching the depravity that comes alongside corruption, knowing the consequences that come when leadership becomes SELF-ABSORBED, dripping in-excess… They STOOD UP and BRAVELY questioned, “WHY?”
They stepped beyond themselves, and asked the questions that lead to only ONE CONCLUSION- we are ALL CREATED EQUAL.
Their theoretical form of government today, is OUR reality. BORN OF imperfect men, BORN-OUT by our SHARED HISTORY. A common goal REALIZED… or rather, one that has been entrusted to US, to complete.
REVOLUTIONS often happen at the POINT OF A SWORD, through the SITE on a barrel…
Wars have been fought to promote the idea of PEACE. PEACE has been SHATTERED under the guise of an avoidance of war. And EVERY TIME… we KNOW what will happen. We KNOW who will fall VICTIM, and we KNOW who will be to blame.
Who we ARE, we CANNOT change. Who we will BECOME is always OUR CHOICE! Do we wish to be DEFINED by the flaws of our PAST? Should we stand against evolution or change, simply to enshrine the PAST… chaining it to our FUTURE? Let us REMEMBER what once WAS and dedicate it, with HONOR, to a RESTORATION OF JUSTICE today. If PEACE IS WHAT WE DESIRE… we should not start a war to PROVE IT.
When we commit to the pursuit of PEACE with the SAME LEVEL of PASSION we commit to the pursuit of JUSTICE… we will SEE BOTH.
I am PROUD to live in the country that helps DEFINE the word REVOLUTION.

Even though May 15, 2018, is the signature date at the bottom of the political organization’s founding documents, the decision was made on February 17, 2018. In my HEART, that is the date I began this journey, regardless of the date the paperwork was filed.

Despite the technical issues, we had a great conversation on several topics, including the border wall, campaign finance, the Equal Rights Amendment, and ending the Electoral College. Mr. Duddridge is an avid supporter of Trump’s policies and agenda, but it was good to see that COMMON SENCE is alive and well!
No matter where our opinions fall within the political paradigm, we ALL seem to agree on ONE THING- Remove the CORRUPTION in our elections, and the system will better serve THE PEOPLE.

On Thursday, April 18, 2019, the Special Counsel’s Office released their report on Russian interference in the 2016 US elections. For weeks preceding the release, the president, the GOP, the Attorney General of the United States, the president’s legal counsel, and MANY MORE have said the report exonerated the president. “NO COLLUSION! NO OBSTRUCTION!” To anyone who believes this:
Take to the task with the frame of mind of proving the people who believe what’s in the report, wrong. DEDICATE yourself to understanding EVERY ASPECT of what is in Volume #1 of the report. Because it lays out in a STEP-BY-STEP, PERSON-BY-PERSON timeline, who knew WHAT, and WHEN they knew it.
It becomes PAINFULLY OBVIOUS that Donald Trump has been LYING.
EVERY person interviewed by the Special Counsel, people who surrounded Trump during the campaign and during the transition, ALL of them were AWARE of Russia’s desire to help Trump win the election. EVERY campaign staff member made it CLEAR, to anyone reaching out on behalf of, or directly from the Russian government, any communication was BUSINESS ONLY. And EVERY person interviewed was certain that Trump WAS NOT INVOLVED…
EVERY person said Trump DID NOT KNOW they had communicated with Russians, or if he did know, it was in conjunction with the “Trump Tower: Moscow” project that was ONGOING through June 2016. The project that he LIED ABOUT publicly when he said he had no business with Russia.
ABOVE: THIS was the internal response of the President-elect’s team after President Obama announced the United States would impose sanctions on Russia for meddling in our elections. A CLEAR disregard for ESTABLISHED LAW, honored by BOTH SIDES OF THE ISLE.
THEY KNOWINGLY WORKED AGAINST THE ORDERS OF A SITTING PRESIDENT
CLEARLY, people within the campaign were ACTIVELY seeking to work with the Russians. Attempts were made by the President-elect’s STAFF to conduct BUSINESS with a FOREIGN ADVERSARY,
EVERY person interviewed made sure to express the fact that Donald Trump did NOT communicate with Russia and he was unaware of their attempts. All while communicating via word-of-mouth, or via encrypted private communications apps that don’t save messages intentionally.
“… so what? It’s just dirt on a rival campaign. Besides, they’d NEVER BEEN in government before. THEY DIDN’T KNOW THE LAW.”
What they were offered, and what they sought, is an abstract concept. They were seeking INFORMATION… DATA. They were seeking “something of value” for their campaign, that was known to be illegal- STOLEN EMAILS. To BOOST their chances of winning an election. Be it an endorsement or assistance, a political campaign must account for services provided with a monetary value. DIRT ON OPPONENT seems like a “something of value” to me. And campaign finance laws, though they are HORRIBLY insufficient, are there to protect OUR DEMOCRACY. Products of lessons learned, from the corruption of our PAST.
We must consider this ALL in context… we’re speaking about DONALD J. TRUMP. His former lawyer testified before Congress that he would do ANYTHING to win. He was running for the HIGHEST OFFICE in a land, GOVERNED BY the RULE OF LAW. To suggest he is ignorant of the law seems… a stretch. ESPECIALLY when weighed TOGETHER with ALL THE EVIDENCE.
Which leads me to a sticky situation. One year ago, knowing this would be necessary, I began my campaign for the OFFICE. Knowing who Donald J. Trump was, I knew the only way ANYONE would be allowed to call him out on ANYTHING that he has done, would be OFFICIALLY… within the CONSTITUTIONALLY PROTECTED and PUBLICLY VIEWED political arena. AS AN ADVERSARY in RHETORICAL BATTLE.
AS A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
As an EQUAL, seeking the HONOR of serving THE PEOPLE.
And in THIS light… I frame my battle. NOT against Donald J. Trump. He is a PRODUCT OF THE PROBLEM. He is THE BEST EXAMPLE I CAN USE TO DEMONSTRATE WHY WE NEED 100% TAX PAYER FUNDED ELECTIONS, but he can just as easily be substituted with GWB, or Nixon, or Clinton (both). The CORRUPT influence of FUNDRAISING, creating laws favoring DONORS over VOTERS, enforcing laws based on WEALTH instead of guilt or innocence, brings us NOW… to this point.
I seek the POWER of the OFFICE, to ensure it REMAINS the OFFICE OF THE PEOPLE. Not to WEAKEN it, not to CHANGE it, but to CLARIFY and FULLY DEFINE it. Without deference to PARTY or POLITICAL IDEOLOGY, with DEDICATION TO UNION, and our SHARED, COMMON-GOOD. Because I believe in the WILL of the American People.
And that means we STAND UP FOR EQUAL JUSTICE UNDER LAW!
EVERY CITIZEN.
Every time.
Just as the story goes, if you don’t stand up for the rights of others, someday you will stand ALONE. When you DEFEND the rights of others, you DEFEND those rights for YOURSELF! It hardly seems fair to allow someone who has NO RESPECT for the OFFICE HE HOLDS, to remain there and avoid accountability for his actions. Just consider the idea of MANDATORY MINIMUM SENTENCING for POSSESSION.
The problems we face CAN BE SOLVED when we STAND united, AS EQUALS. When the sign on the door says “Equal Justice Under Law” and we STILL don’t enforce it EQUALLY for all citizens, it is not what it appears to be. And that DOUBT in our CONSTITUTION makes us weak. Benefiting only ONE MAN. We, the PEOPLE, must CUT THE STRINGS on HIS PUPPET.
WE DECIDE WHAT OUR GOVERNMENT SHOULD BE! We decide, because we are the balance upon which the system resides, we choose what we will see.
What do YOU SEE… faces or a vase?
I’ll bet there’s a spot on his body that will make his leg kick if you scratch it JUST RIGHT… and someone who KNOWS where it is.

When looking to purchase a bag of weed, it is NOT advisable to walk up to someone who is suspected of possessing it, and exclaim, “Good day, kind sir! I am looking to PURCHASE SOME MARIJUANA. Would you have ANY FOR SALE? HERE IS SOME CASH…”
Everyone knew the Russians had what they were seeking. The staff asked around, they emailed people they thought might be close to someone, who ‘knew someone’ in Putin’s circle… but strictly about “BUSINESS”! Not… you know. (wink)
“… using CODED LANGUAGE about a conversation he had that day.” Hmmm….
Does anyone remember THIS?-
On July 27, 2016, during an interview on CBS while at the REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION, Campaign Chairman Paul Manafort was asked for CLARIFICATION 1:59 into the interview: “So to be CLEAR, Mr. Trump has no FINANCIAL RELATIONSHIPS with any Russian Oligarchs.”
His response, after stuttering and stumbling, fighting to find the right words:
“That’s what he said…. That’s obviously our position.”
… I think you’d have to be HIGH to believe THAT.
STAND UP for EQUAL JUSTICE UNDER LAW.

I may be a knave… but I am no fool. Even an atheist like myself can see where the hand of divinity has strayed. It is nothing short of a miracle that Notre Dame will stand strong again someday, framed against the Paris skyline.
A miracle that was assured upon the laying of the very first stone, because it was laid with the utmost care and dedication to the immense task that was then, just unfolding. Just as the building itself was envisioned as a celebration of the Creation, it was asked for and granted, blessing by the Creator, and built by the hands of man for use in Rememberance and celebration OF the Creator, by us ALL.
It is no accident these stone masonry structures stand, and will continue to stand. It’s because of the inter-woven, inter-twined faith and dogma within their ancient craft. Once a stone is hewn to perfection, and placed with TRUE intention and dedication, it will know nothing other than to STAND UPRIGHT, throughout ALL TIME.
As I began preparing my home for renovation, I investigated all the sources I could find to learn the craft of stone masonry. Working with granite stones weighing hundreds of pounds, I wanted to make sure I learned everything I could before I placed ANY stones. It was inevitable that I would be reading the Esoteric works of Freemasonry, and once I did, I understood WHY stone masonry of all things… not iron worker or farmer. Not carpenter. Not Statesman.
Granite is an AMAZING substance! Second hardest naturally occurring stone on Earth and found everywhere, in the mountains miles above our heads, to the ancient mountain ranges hiding miles below our feet. Some of it is so old, it’s STILL slightly radioactive, containing minute amounts of uranium deposited here on Earth over 2 billion years ago.
For thousands of years, Mankind has revered the inherent strength of granite. Through rain, through wind, through fire, through flood, the stones placed by our ancestors have stood, even as our children rebuild. The days are STILL counted as the shadow passes through the stones. And whitin the holes among granite mountains we find paintings, reminding us that ONE DAY, within these homes, our ancestors once stood.
ONE STONE, hewn to perfection, under the watchful eye of a master mason, can stand strong and resist the strongest urges to fall. MANY STONES, crafted with dedication, and placed In Union with TRUE intention, creates an edifice of such strength and enduring beauty, only a MOUNTAIN RANGE could challenge its longevity.
As it is within THIS story, the United States is ALLIED with the People of Paris, and the Nation of France, and the citizens of the European Union. Because it is, as it ever was, and shall ALWAYS be…
