A Call to Amend the Constitution

“…a ‘Constitutional Crisis’…”

We have reached a point in our Country’s evolutionary trajectory where We must make CONCRETE statements about who We ARE and what we WANT to be. A large number of societal issues have been enraged, manipulated by parties, FORIEGN and DOMESTIC, resulting in DIVISION within our common interests. The DIVISION placed between Us has resulted in damages being caused, simply by doing NOTHING.

Doing NOTHING has become both SAFE and PROFITABLE.

A Constitutional Convention

Our INDIVIDUAL identities, both physical/spiritual AND virtual, are VALUABLE . Most often INHERITED from a set of elders, BUT not exclusively. “In order to form a more perfect Union… and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish…” The Freedom to choose one’s individual identity is why we are ALL HERE.

We, as individuals alone, are able to decide our own Identities.

ALL persons should be protected from discrimination based on their Identity. All persons should be allowed to define their identity in Safety.

Being that only an Individual has the right to vote and not a corporation, the protections afforded to an individual should NOT be given to corporations.

End the Electoral College

The protection of the ballot box being compromised by a large enough number of the States’ removing the Liberty of the Electoral College to pick the Executive, the Election of the President shall be determined directly by the Popular Vote of the People and not the Electoral College. A National Restructuring of the electoral process should be researched and developed via Regular Order in Congress, with due consideration given to the equal suffrage in the Senate.

Article II, section I.2 shale be undone.

Article II, section I.3 shall be Amended.

Article II, section I.4 shall be undone and Amended.

The sacred defense of the Reproductive Liberty of ALL People being Our Common Duty, the Right of a Woman to Choose shall be protected.

When our Constitution was written, the Framers stood upon a hill, looking back the same distance we look back Now upon them, and they could STILL SEE a time when Lords and Tyrants decided the Reproductive Rights of ALL. Forgive us, when the winds of change come and some look upon us NOW, and use a well meaning moral law as precedent to enact legislation that limits Reproductive Liberty in the name of the State.

IF we allow the Government the ability to legislate our individual HUMAN right, they can someday decide when you CAN or CANNOT reproduce.

ONE CITIZEN=ONE VOTE

Once a regulated and SECURE voting system is established, voted upon and ratified under Constitutional Law, the ABLILITY to shine light on societal change becomes a tool of the People, wielded DIRECTLY every TWO years.

A CLEAR BEGINING is to re-affirm the control of our collective fates and fortunes lies in the hands of our Citizens. WE have not forgotten, we have been DISTRACTED and forgot that we have to be UNITED for this to work. We must stand TOGETHER and support the core ideals in our founding documents….

…or not. THAT is what must happen. A DISCUSSION on whether THIS, Our Structure of Governance, is a true reflection of what we want it to be.

So, How Do We Do This?

It is the intentional design of our election process that limits who can mount a successful bid for the Presidency. Honest, hard working men and women who have a family, who have bills to pay, who must work 40+ hours a week to keep their heads above water cannot run for President. The amount of effort and money and time necessary to got through the process… primaries through spring, nomination by summer, campaigning all the while, debates in the fall, press, campaigning, gab handing, back slapping, Election. One must be independently wealthy to ATTEMPT a run, then you have to attract the corporate entities’ dollar bills to get your message out.

A minimum of one year with no job. All donated time and effort toward a message campaign, a commercial, a roadside billboard. With no promise of winning. As a middle class American, I can say that is impossible for me to do! My family would go bankrupt.

So, I have to change the rules. That’s why I want to be president, so why not start now? It is not unheard of for someone to run a ‘Front Porch” campaign. Due to illness or incumbent obligations, the candidates can have the media come to them. In this case, I can be virtually anywhere and available 24/7… AFTER I run kids to school, keep my blood sugar at acceptable levels, clean the house, do the dishes, fill prescriptions, make appointments, scrub the toilet…

Also a ‘whistle stop’ campaign can be added, where I will make time to go out an speak in different States, ALL 50 is the ONLY WAY. The 50 State Strategy, only not just a cute thing to say to attract voters… really. ONE CITIZEN=ONE VOTE. We ALL gotta have ‘skin in the game’ here. We all gotta own this.

So that means funding. We shall see? If anyone feels the urge to support this, GoFundMe and Patreon plz… BUT I must be on the ballot in ALL 50 States as an Independent Candidate. Each State has rules that allow for an Independent Candidate to be on the ballot by either a fee or petition. Here is a link-

In Kansas, the petition requirements are VERY tight on time allowed for getting signatures. The amount of signatures is not that high, only 5,000, but the time between the first signature obtained and the last is 180 days. Every State has a unique set of hoops to jump thru, and I CANNOT do it alone! I need volunteers. (Right now, unpaid as funds are….hold on, let me check….. $0. Yep, zero.) I hope that changes, but financial gain is not what were doing this for. With enough volunteers, the metaphorical lift will be light.

If enough honest and good-faith people step up to help collect signatures in each state we can do this. If anyone is interested, email me, comment here or on my YouTube vids, Tweet @MrJLCharbonneau. If we co-ordinate enough little groups in LOTS of places, we might see a point where a day outside of a Walmart or on a street corner for just a couple hours will win this. As I run it over in my head, I bet I could lock in a hundred signatures in an afternoon.

Would YOU be willing to donate an afternoon asking, on my behalf, for an independent candidate to have a CHANCE… I’m not yet asking for votes! Just the ABILITY to COMPETE for votes. The question I want EVERYONE to be asked is simple,

“Would you sign a petition to allow an independent candidate ballot access in the 2020 Presidential Election?”

Just want the chance. Leave the rest to me. I’ll try not to mess it up!

ps- When and IF the time comes, I will file with the FEC and follow the rules. Any donation not spent will be donated to charity, needy children of some sort comes to mind immediately, but it will go toward the benefit of someone in need. It would be the least I could do with donations from caring people.

 

Playing With Fire

I TRULY feel I have something that everybody’s looking for… they just don’t know it YET. It’s amazing. It’s hot as fire, it’s simple, it’s all-encompassing, it’s not new, but it IS THE ANSWER… as far as I can tell.

And I’m DYING to be told WHY I AM WRONG. Anyone? Please?!! I keep making the attempt and can’t find ONE reason I should not run for president in 2020 on the main-plank platform of Ending the Electoral College. I believe it. I found the answer BEFORE everyone else, it’s a great answer with amazing consequence, and I don’t want to mess this up! Not the ‘me-being-President’ part… that is a piece of the answer, not the motivation. I don’t want to paint myself and my motivations in such a way as to ruin a beautiful truth-

Mankind can GOVERN ITSELF. We no longer need a “failsafe“.

The Electoral College can be done away with.

The Electoral College MUST be done away with in order to bring out the best America has to offer to HUMANITY. By holding back the brightest and best people, we limit our evolutional trajectory. Our government used to be a stepping stone for innovative young minds. The benefit of our society came from people wanting to do good things for themselves and their Country/communities. THEN move with their talents and experiences gained into the privet sector. Both, our Country and the individual benefitting greatly.

Due to the MASSIVE amounts of money involved in campaign finance, and the deceptive nature in which corporations manipulate politicians. To bend a politician’s beliefs for campaign dollars. Presidents are picked by corporate dollars with little or NO direct input from the PEOPLE.

Yes… we are allowed to pick between two candidates. But, as I’ve seen it, in every election since 2000, it’s been a pick between Bad and Worse… BOTH in-bed with multi-national multi-million dollar ________. Banks, companies, you name it.

….and they have funded BOTH SIDES AT THE SAME TIME.

C’mon. I KNOW we can do BETTER! That’s what we NEED. The people were demanding it this past weekend, in Kansas City at the March For Our Lives. The inequality driven between us by a united set of ENTITIES worth more money than 99% of the PLANET COMBINED is killing us. It’s not a group of PEOPLE…. people have compassion. People want to see good things for others. The corporate ENTITY is an all-consuming critter. They are supposed to be, right? It’s how it survives. Like a wildfire.

In Kansas, every spring the Flint Hills are burned off to help stop wildfires from consuming cities. Controlled burns NOW will limit a fire sparked by lightning in the middle of August. ACTION taken NOW will prevent…

I don’t know. I’ll stop with the metaphor. I could turn it a thousand ways and make it pop, or possibly rhyme… maybe a catchy slogan or cute phrase. But…

As I walked the crowd with my family at the neveragainKC march, I could not help but feel overwhelmed by sadness and anger, and at the same time joy and hope. All sorts of ideas and slogans were plastered on signage, people with crosses. And people with a hole in their heart. People with a longing for unity, after losing someone they miss greatly.

No one has this thought yet and may not for many months to come. I do not want to soil this or ruin it for that moment when it ‘clicks’. This is NOT MINE, this is EVERYONE’S idea. No one has yet challenged the premise that we were taught as kids. It’s time SOMEONE does it. We all say it, or hear it. No one DOES it. We must find out if we can-

“ANYONE can become President of the United States.” Is that true? Or does the corporate ENTITY need to approve? May I volunteer to be the President for all of us? I may not be the best, or the one you would prefer, but I am DOING IT. I decided to do it, and if you would allow me the CHANCE to be on that stage in the debates in 2020, I will try not to let you ALL down.

There’s too much at stake for me to get this wrong. That’s what I’m afraid of most- a misstep or an action I should have done that led to a misunderstanding. There seems to be very little precedent for this. So I guess I’ll have to pave the way. I built the first approved grid-tied solar panel array in Wyandotte County, KS. It was also the first DIY homemade grid-tied solar panel array in the United States. NO ONE else had done it, I had to teach the guy inspecting it how to inspect it. It took a while, but I did it.

Everyone else thought about it. I decided to do it.

Censorship, The President, and the Porn Star

Um… how old are we?!!

Are we really going to talk about…

…. Look, this is making me uncomfortable.

I don’t even wanna THINK about him and…

EWWW!!!

Seriously? THIS is how we respond to a situation like this? NO WONDER people are all on-board with secretive contracts and hush money! “But he said the P-word.” No shit?? Wow. A racist old fart said the p-word.

I watch a morning talk show program called “Coffee Joe and the Brew Crew”, I’m not sure if anyone else sees it, but one of the regulars, Donny Deutsch, asked host Mika Brzezinski about sexual abuse in the work place. “Where do we draw the line? Can co-workers still go out for dinner and drinks in a work setting? etc…” and the questioning was, at first, met with anger.

We should ALWAYS hear accusations IMPARTIALLY. EVEREYONE has a right to be HEARD. FEAR and INTIMIDATION should not silence anyone. Ever. And Donny’s point brought me to a couple realizations.

1.) THE SILENCE HAS MIS-INFORMED THE PUBLIC AT-LARGE.

Because of the silence, on all sides for all the various reasons, most people… being a male I will refer to the male descriptors in this, only because I am one… most men are not aware the EXTENT of sexual abuse and sexual manipulation that occurs daily. As I have become aware of it, I realize MANY things I believed were good-hearted or crude humor, were giving COVER to SEXUAL PREDATORS. Giving cover to acts that, if I had been aware of them, I would have pushed to get LAW ENFORCEMENT involved.

When I realized this, I stopped and asked myself “What have I done? Have I done SOMETHING? Who have I hurt?”

No one is perfect. Some of us, when we look back 20 or 30 years, we were kids! Silence has led to misunderstanding and damaged souls countless times. I hope that just the ACT of asking this question, and discussing it with someone you care about, shows where your heart is, and helps answer that question. And those discussions WILL involve topics that will bring me to the next point…

2.) IT IS THE LAW. WE FOLLOW THE LAW, OR WE CHANGE THE LAW.

The law is written to present a CLEAR DEFINITION of what is LEAGAL and what is NOT. When you feel the law has been broken, you should be heard OPENLY and HONESTLY and EVERYONE should PROTECT AND SUPPORT that right. Those who OPPOSE THIS are aiding in a CRIME punishable BY LAW. Equal justice UNDER LAW. And acting as if we are a bunch of elementary school children will NOT SOLVE THIS ISSUE! If we are to open up this horrid, stagnant, backwater to start fresh, level, and anew… It WILL involve talking about subjects that are NOT what we have been led to believe. They are NOT taboo and off-limits… WE ARE ALL EFFECTED BY THEM.

My kids’ favorite book for a while was titled “EVERYONE POOPS”, and yes, it is a work of PURE FICTION! I know only HALF the population seems to do it, for some reason… If it were true, I would seriously, need to SHAVE MY PALMS or get a seeing eye dog. Because you know what they say about guys with BIG FEET, right…. HUGE SHOES. And this one time, The President of the United States had sex with a CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED ACTRESS, DIRECTOR, AND SCREENWRITER.

BUT, because we can’t say ‘porn’ without someone cracking a smile on NATIONAL TV, we will never get to the part where the AWARD WINNING DIRECTOR and SCREENWRITER, who is an INDUCTEE IN THE HALL OF FAME, is being silenced by a BULLY and ABUSER. A CHEATER and a LIAR. A man who said he could shoot someone dead and still get elected.

To finally put to rest the issue of INEQUALITY in our society, we are going to have to have some DISTURBING conversations. We are going to have to look at things we might find off-color, or blue, maybe even something that hits a bit too close to home. But UNDERSTANDING comes from COMPASSION. The simple act of LISTENING will heal more that you know. Because it is a start. It opens the minds of people who DIDN’T EVEN KNOW they were missing something. Because if something HURTFUL is happening and I can do something to help, I wanna know.

And I am not the only person who feels that way. EVERYONE should know that, too.

As Harry S Truman was crossing the Atlantic, on his way to Potsdam, he received the news. Humanity had just given birth to giant baby monster. As WWII engulfed the planet, claiming souls in battle and from the ‘cost of war’, a quick end to fighting was now at hand. The fortitude of our enemies was apparent. Their resolve, just as strong as ours. Truman knew who was fighting and dying in this war- the families on the farms back home in Kansas City, and countless other “back-homes” from State to State.

He made his decision with THOSE FAMILIES in mind. Good intentions. Horrible situation. Horrible choices.

A “Necessary evil”

Humanity seemed to be on the cusp of splitting the atom in the 1930s and 1940s. Just a matter of time before the theoretical became physical. The geniuses conceiving this ‘little boy’ also understood the vast POTENTIAL that could come from splitting the atom. The possibilities of vast amounts of free energy where almost tangible… so they tried to tell themselves as they tried to digest what they witnessed at the Trinity test site.

Attempting to judge the merit of these decisions is difficult. Truman made a cold mathematical calculation, less casualties > everything else. FDR decided that the US having that technology was better than Germany having that technology. Einstein brought the idea of splitting the atom to the attention of The President. (AND he created the damned theories that made it possible… way to go, Einstein!!)

Now, balance that with all we know NOW. The decisions made IN THE NOW are, tomorrow, undefinable. Example- Bugs Bunny. (…stick with me…) The Warner Bros. cartoons, the ones with GUN toting animated characters off to fight Hitler, are the “Adult Swim” or “Family Guy” of that era. I just NOW made that “Family Guy” connection, consider this… when people watch “Family Guy in 2088, how many jokes will they understand? 70 years from now? How many gags are in an EPISODE of “Family Guy”, let alone an entire SEASON?!! Yeah. wow. In the Warner Bros. cartoons, each animated short had, what… 2 or 3 pop culture references?? Family Guy is just an unbroken stream of pop culture references for 23 minutes.

SO MUCH of the NOW that those minds were dealing with THEN has evaporated. One can try to gain an understanding by reading the papers at the Truman Library, but some things are not contained in a dossier. They are only in the moment. And so it was decided. With the facts and emotions in hand, we had a baby.

Babies need THINGS to… exist. It seems that everyone involved in the conception knew what a HUGE responsibility this would be before it happened, so there had to be preparations beforehand. We might not get it right the first time, so we would probably need to practice a few times to perfect it. That would mean an assembly line of some sort… wait. I crossed my metaphors… oops. You get the idea. So… since there was no ‘Thermonuclear-Parts-R-Us’ yet-

We had to Create one.

The most honorable responsibilities imparted to the men and women in the development of our nuclear technology, past and present, are great. Humanity envisioned a method to unlock the power of the universe and manifested it in reality. At that time, we were only just beginning to see the powers of the Universe are quite inhospitable toward life. The sacred honor of protecting humanity would need to go hand-in-hand with the honor of attaining this knowledge. No less humility should be given to such a tremendous force. The ability to destroy ourselves became the tool used to protect ourselves.

The honorable and sacred duty of guarding the Nuclear Weapons being necessary at all costs, the diverse entities needed to build the arsenal were now under an umbrella of protection due to their roll in the bomb’s production.

A COMPLEX network of INDUSTRY was put together to support the MILITARY. A MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX, if you will. It had become necessary, the honorable position. “What do you do?” “I help keep America safe. I build the____ on our Nuclear weapons.”

But now, 70 years later, the honor of that duty has been minimized. “I often worry Thought will fail to wing his way home, but my fear for Memory is greater.” The honor has been exploited for profit due to the guaranteed commitment to protecting the arsenal AT ALL COSTS. Like the Royal Guard at Buckingham Palace, no matter what you throw at them, do to them, they will continue with the sacred honor entrusted to them.

And so it is with our Nuclear Infrastructure. It must NEVER be compromised. It is our protection, our assurance, that others will not use their Nuclear Infrastructure to destroy our ability to use our Nuclear Infrastructure to protect…

AT ALL COSTS.

We have reached a point were the jury must decide if the mother should be condemned for stealing the loaf of bread to feed her child. A crime that is NO CRIME. Something no one would allow to happen, yet would never look down upon. YOU MUST FEED THE BABY! It is the sacred duty.

How does this change? You make sure the mother has all the tools and support necessary so breaking the law is not an option. Education. Knowledge. Openness. Oversight. Regulations. Support.
