For the last two years, I’ve been working under the assumption that ALL of my FEC quarterly filings were being made publicly available. Even though the FEC Candidate’s Handbook states campaigns that have raised less than $5000 are not required to file, I fully intend to raise totals exceeding that amount.
As Treasurer of the political campaign Jack Charbonneau 2020: Political Revolution, I have followed the requirements laid out in the FEC Handbook and have retained a copy of all paperwork, as well as proof of delivery to Washington, DC, via UPS.
All filings have been ON TIME, even the filing that was DELAYED due to the Government Shutdown.
I became aware that my paperwork wasn’t available online because I made an ERROR last quarter. I sent the paperwork off to DC without making a copy first. I assumed I could pull a copy of the pdf from the FEC website and just file that, but the only thing they’ve posted is my campaign’s founding declaration.
Unfortunately, THIS is all I have for last quarter:
In addition to filing it with the FEC, I will release a copy of my campaign’s 4th Quarter/Year End report on my website when it’s complete. That should be within the next couple of weeks. There’s no big changes, no surprises, but the quarter doesn’t officially end until January 1st. Campaign contributions could start rolling in any minute…
… and I am still hopeful!
